Okay, we'd like to apologize for that horribly dated Entourage reference. Let us make it up to you with this badass first photo of Jason Momoa as the man who can talk to fish:
Like millions of nerds across the country, we're pleasantly surprised to see arguably the lamest superhero in the DC universe actually looking pretty cool.
You might remember Momoa as the ill-fated Khal Drogo from the first season of Game of Thrones.

The photo was tweeted by director Zack Snyder as a teaser for 2016's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Yes, this thing is gonna have more heroes than Spiderman 3 had villains. Hope you like your action flicks 4 hours long!
As for the meaning of "unite the seven," that's been a subject of debate amongst fans.
Some say it refers to Aquaman's plans to rule over all seven seas (an argument supported by Snyder including the phrase "one true king" in his caption).
Others say it's an allusion to the members of the Justice League (Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter).
Either way, it's clear that Aquaman is no longer the Meg Griffin of comic book heroes, and we have to admit...we're a little bummed that we can't make fun of him anymore without fearing for our lives.
