“Boyhood”
Boyhood won the Golden Globe for best picture, drama. Director Richard Linklater let Jonathan Sehring, who helped finance and produced the film, accept the award.




Michael Keaton
The Golden Globe for lead actor in a film, comedy or musical, went to Michael Keaton for his work in "Birdman."
"I want to thank the HFPA for even having a comedy category. If I can carry that flag for at least one night I'm happy to do it."


Hosts’ Swan Song
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the Globes for the third and final time. The pair got the crowd ready for the show with a stellar opening monologue that Variety critic Brian Lowry said "hit on obvious targets – from 'The Interview' to Bill Cosby – while addressing the talent in attendance and Hollywood foibles without sounding either mean-spirited or (worse) fawning."


Eddie Redmayne
Eddie Redmayne took home the Golden Globe for lead actor in a motion picture – drama for his portrail for Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything."
"I've had to spend the most of the night trying to keep from falling over from encountering all of the actors I admire."


“The Grand Budapest Hotel”
After coming up short all night, "The Grand Budapest Hotel" snatched the award for best motion picture – comedy or musical.
